Excel Physical Therapy, headquartered in King of Prussia, PA, is an outpatient practice which has grown to 32 clinic locations in the Southeastern Pennsylvania region. Our 150+ therapists and staff are dedicated to delivering one-on-one quality care, serving patients six days a week. What are we looking for?

Patient Services Representatives play a significant role in our success as a company! We are looking for someone driven, friendly and excited to connect with our patients from the moment they enter our clinics to their final “graduation” day.  Our Patient Services Representatives work closely with our Clinical Staff to ensure that day to day clinic operations run smoothly and efficiently and that we ultimately deliver the highest level of patient care and service.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Attention to detail, as related to data entry and creation of clinic reports
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity of a healthcare environment and patient relations, along with Payer/health insurance processes
  • Flexibility to adjust to demands of a busy clinic  
  • Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office, including Excel/Word, healthcare ERP systems such as Clinicient a plus, or willingness to learn
  • Secondary education or in process of attaining an Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Desire to learn and grow with the company

 

Daily Job Duties:

  • Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service while assuring an efficient check in process
  • Coach patient’s through their specific insurance policy
  • Manage over the counter collections and seamless telephone communication
  • Assist Clinical Staff with patient scheduling
  • Complete daily and weekly management reports
  • Handle all insurnace referrals and authorizations to ensure an accurate and timely billing process
  • Respond to patient questions knowledgeably and efficiently and referring to the correct department as appropriate
