Russ joined Excel Physical Therapy and Fitness in March, 2007. He is a staff Physical Therapist at the Villanova clinic. Russ graduated from Arcadia University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to attending Arcadia University, he attended Ursinus College where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science. Russ was also a member of the men’s soccer team and president of the Zeta Chi fraternity. While earning his doctorate from Arcadia University, Russ was employed as a certified personal trainer for the Philadelphia Sports Clubs, working with a variety of clients. Russ recently recieved his certification as a spine specialist in May 2009. Russ was also certified in Active Release Technique (ART) in February 2010.
Russ’s primary interests in physical therapy are in orthopedics and sports medicine. In his free time Russ enjoys running, soccer, and mountain biking.
