Jane Fagan joined Excel Physical Therapy and Fitness in November 2009 working as a staff Physical Therapist at the Jenkintown clinic. Prior to joining the Excel team, Jane lived and worked in Nashville, Tennessee. Her professional background includes a focus on pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, sports and overuse injuries, and general orthopedics. She has worked in various outpatient settings in New York, Connecticut, and Tennessee, and has treated amateur and professional athletes, as well as the general population. Jane graduated, with distinction, from Simmons College in Boston with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2003. Jane completed her residency program at Trucare Physical Therapy, located within Altheus Health and Fitness in New York, modeled after the United States Olympic training facility in Colorado Springs. Jane obtained a certificate in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy from the McKenzie Institute in 2008. Professionally, Jane has a strong interest in providing quality care with concentrations in orthopedic & sports medicine. Future aspirations include attaining her Specialty Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. In her spare time, Jane enjoys being active outdoors, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
