Peter Marzano joined the Excel Physical Therapy and Fitness staff in March of 2010 as a staff physical therapist in our Northeast clinic and in 2011 was promoted to the Clinic Manager of that location. He previously worked for The Reading Hospital at their general outpatient clinic while performing homecare services during the evenings. Peter graduated from Arcadia University, with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Lehigh University in 2002, during which time he was actively involved in training athletes from various backgrounds. His professional interests include orthopedics and sports medicine and he aspires to obtain a Specialty Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in addition to several manual certifications. In 2011 he became certified in active release technique for the lower body and Direct Access certified, allowing him to legally treat patients without a physician’s prescription. He is also certified in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS).
Peter views each patient as an individual with their own unique health care needs and encourages his patients to be actively involved in their plan of care and continued wellness there after. During his spare time, Peter enjoys working out, outdoor activities, real estate development, and spending time with his girlfriend and their 2 dogs.
