Megan joined the Excel Physical Therapy and Fitness team in September of 2011 as a staff Physical Therapist at the Bensalem location. Prior to joining Excel, Megan has worked in a variety of clinical settings, however found her niche in treating the outpatient population.
Megan graduated from College Misericordia in 2006 with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Megan then furthered her education in 2008 by receiving a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Misericordia as well. She has a strong interest in treating the orthopedic and sports medicine population with a strong emphasis on manual based techniques. While currently studying for her Certified Strength and Conditioning Certification (CSCS), in the future Megan would also like to obtain her Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) certificate as well. She currently holds her Direct Access license.
Megan’s goal as a therapist is to provide exceptional and individualized treatment to each patient to help them achieve their goals. She strives to treat the whole patient, providing them also with the knowledge of their pathology to ensure optimum outcomes in their overall health.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and running.
