Desirae Gaspero began with Excel Physical Therapy and Fitness in March of 2007 working as a Physical Therapist Aide at the Villanova and Glen Mills Excel Clinics, while attending Arcadia University. In February of 2009, Desirae was hired as a full time staff Physical Therapist for the Villanova clinic.
Desirae graduated from Arcadia University with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. In May 2006, Desirae received her BA in Biological Basis of Behavior at the University of Pennsylvania. While at Penn, Desirae was a member and co-captain of the Women’s Gymnastics Team. Professionally, Desirae has a strong interest in providing care with concentrations in orthopedic & sports medicine. She is certified in active release technique for the upper and lower body and is also direct access certified, allowing her to legally treat patients without a physician’s prescription. In 2011, Desirae began to specialize in vestibular rehabilitation. Future aspirations include attaining her Specialty Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy as well as various manual therapy certifications.
In her spare time, Desirae enjoys working out, traveling, being active outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
